Printing on plastics
We routinely print on a number of plastic materials such as acrylate, PVC, PP, PET and many others. Some of them can still be transilluminated, bent or stretched in hot vacuum presses to take various forms after printing.
Methods used:
- Direct screen printing with rasters, if any, of up to 65-85 lpi, depending on the type of coating applied.
- Solvent-based digital printing for large-format applications.
We would advise against:
- Ordering print that reaches the edges of the material. With certain exceptions this is impossible.
